University of Washington EE 491 “Undergraduate Seminar: Lived Experiences of Engineers” (Spring 2026)
Designed the course with UW ECE Professor Denise Wilson from January 2025 - March 2026
Course Description: This seminar will expose the undergraduate engineering student to the early career experiences of engineering graduates. Invited guest speakers will share their experiences through individual stories, participation in panel discussions, and other formats designed to engage the engineering student in discussion and dialogue. The primary learning outcomes of the seminar focus on offering the student a greater understanding of the choices, challenges, and experiences of a wide range of early career engineers and applying that understanding to their own career pathways and life strategy.
